The 16GA stainless steel top is sound deaden to increase durability and reduces the amount of noise when working on the table top. The 5″ rear riser prevents splashes, debris to splash onto the back wall and prevents unwanted supplies to fall off the back of the table.  The adjustable bracing securely holds the table in place and allows room for sliding equipment, tools, or trash bins under neath the table.
