The Smell of BBQ Filled The Air – EffingHAM-JAM Cookoff Event

Taking place in the heart of Effingham, IL, the downtown area was filled with food venders, local shops, competitors and delicious BBQ. The two day event brought together local amateur and professional teams to be judged for best sauce, best wings, best pork steak, best presentation and best theme. The main event was the sanctioned BBQ championship hosted by Kansas City Barbecue Society. The Grand Champion of the BBQ Championship received a 24″ x 24″ Boos Butcher Block with a custom engrave knife holder. Winners also received custom engraved Boos Block trophies and cutting boards.
