Rip Saw & High-Speed Molder Operator (2nd Shift)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for operating and maintaining woodworking machinery, ensuring wood materials are accurately cut and shaped to meet required specifications. Required to set up, load and unload material, use rip saw to cut boards into desired widths and lengths and operate molder to create specific profiles, contours or edges. Perform routine maintenance and keep machinery in working order. Troubleshoot and address any operational issues. Adhere to safety protocol and guidelines. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth production flow and timely completion of orders.

Job Title: Rip Saw & High-Speed Molder Operator
Position Type: Full-Time – 2nd Shift (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM)
Salary: From $18.00 per Hour
Work Location: In-Person (Effingham, IL 62401)

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in woodworking and operating machinery preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to understand machine settings and adjustments
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
• Good physical stamina and dexterity for handling materials
• Safety-conscious mindset and adherence to safety regulations
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
