Cutting Board Line Operators (1st Shift)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for the packaging and prepping of cutting boards.

Job Title: Cutting Board Line Operators
Position Type: Full-Time – 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
Work Location: In-Person Wood Manufacturing Facility (Effingham, IL 62401)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow specific instructions and processes.
• Operate box on demand machine.
• Operate hand tools and palm sanders.
• Learn all SKUs for cutting boards.
• Meet daily and weekly production goals.
• Apply labels correctly to cutting boards.
• Prep cutting boards for packaging.
• Process orders through computer system.
• Cross train in other departments.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Some knowledge of basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail.
• Willingness to be trained on the operation of power and/or hand tools.
• Ability to Stand 8 Hours/Day.
• Ability to lift up to 50 Lbs.
• Physical capabilities for bending, reaching, turning and twisting on a regular basis.
