Outstanding
The best of the best. Excellent craftsmanship of the highest caliber. Not inexpensive, but worth the cost. It is attractive and gentle on our knife blades. Purchase the Care and Maintenance Pack to keep it looking as good as new. An heirloom piece you get to enjoy every day.

It’s beautiful
Like all Boos products this board is very well made and is absolutely gorgeous. It is a joy to use as there is plenty of room to work with ingredients. Care (oiling and board cream) is necessary as with any board but the company products make that easy.

I purchased a $534 cutting
I purchased a $534 cutting board from John Boos that arrived defective. I returned it unused and in its original packaging, with UPS tracking confirming delivery to their facility. Initially, I was told by a manager that I would receive both a replacement and a full refund due to the defective product and the poor customer service I experienced. Later, the offer changed to a replacement only, which I declined. I was then assured the refund would be processed that same day.
Several days passed with no refund or communication. The refund was promised multiple times and not delivered. I ultimately had to file a dispute with my bank. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company.
