Not as expected
While the cutting board is fine, the size was too small. I tried to return the board which they said I could do but shipping back something this heavy makes zero sense to send back. I asked if they could send a shipping label and charge me their price but they said no. Very disappointing and won’t be ordering anything else.

feet are too slippery
I wish the feet had more grip. The board slides around.

A Beautiful Board
Though I haven't had a lot of chances to use it yet, the few times I have gotten to use it have been great. I love the height, the feel, and the look.
My only gripe is that the board slides very easily on the countertop. Would that John Boos offered rubber disks for the bottoms of the board's feet to keep it in place.
Would that affect my decision to recommend a John Boos cutting board to someone? No, not at all, but I would let them know they might need to find a non-slip solution depending on which board they are looking to purchase.

Perfect starter cutting board!
My 23 old daughter has a small apartment,never really interest in cooking. When she started asking for a lodge cast iron skillet,baking dishes etc surprised her with this board for Christmas. Hopes weren’t high she’d like it figured I could keep it if she didn’t lol.
Beautiful,solid board and small but not too small. She loved it!
