A Forty-Two Pound Behemouth
G'Day Mr. Boos and Company... I recently relocated to the Midwest and my new apartment has kitchen counter tops that are alabaster, beige and black in color. Very unsightly. As a result, I am relieved to have discovered a 30 x 23 inch Maple Cutting Board produced by my friends in Effingham, Illinois. My initial thoughts were that I paid too much ($369.00 including shipping and tax). However, the wooden cutting board is absolutely gorgeous. The Boos Block Mystery Oil and Board Cream also brought out a radiant shine. My friends and neighbors are truly impressed with my latest addition to the kitchen. Very nice board but had
Very nice board but had a slight discoloration on it like something had been laying on it …hopefully it will rub off with time 🤷♂️

Deep line in board.
There’s a knife like look deep line on our board. 2 of them. Don’t like that. But otherwise we love it.

Just okay
I’m thinking about returning the board. It arrived with a small chip on the side which will not affect functionality but for 350, I would not expect that. There is also an area of potential cracking. It feels smooth on touch but concerned.
