Good so far
This replaced a same-size edge grain Boos maple board without juice grooves that we have had for probably 30 years. I wanted to get a board with grooves, and wanted a Boos board, so this seemed like the right fit. I have a larger and a smaller Boos end grain board, and two custom-made end grain boards, all of which get regular use in our kitchen. It has only gotten light use so far, but it is of typical Boos quality, and I expect it will serve well. I like the tapered groove, so that the juices will run to the end with the well.
One nit to pick is that the board seemed kind of dry upon receipt. I oiled it well, and followed up with a coating of Boos Board Cream, and that seems to have helped.
All on all, seems like a good kitchen tool that will get lots of use.

A Great Design
I made my own oak cutting board over 50 years ago. It had a juice groove (but not sloped) and a small trough. I still have it and use it to this day. I bought this one as a gift because of its design. I thought if I were to make a cutting board today I would use the same features. It’s a great design.
