John Boos & Co. Celebrating “Serving Our Customers For 125 Years”

On August 9th, 2012, from 5-7 pm, John Boos held an after-hours chamber event in celebration of their 125th consecutive year in business. Chamber members and business partners of John Boos all gathered to tour the new Corporate Headquarters office and metal facility located at 3601 S. Banker St. Plant tours were given every ten minutes. The Firefly Grill catered a truly artistic, superb spread of hors d’oeuvres and shooters that were displayed on none-other-than Boos Block® cutting boards! Cake, wine and beverages were also served. Three Boos Block® cutting boards were raffled off. The winners were: Todd Hull, Ashley Smith, Brad Esker. Bill Fearday, retired employee and historian was present to enlighten guests on the history of the company. According to the chamber members, usually 75 people show up for after hour events like this, however, John Boos had 146 attendees that evening, assuming the community was a bit curious to see the unveiling of the new corporate headquarters and to tour the metal fabrication facility.
