Winner of Hell's Kitchen Visits John Boos Showroom
Christina Machamer, the recent winner of Hell's Kitchen, Season 4, traveled 2 hours from her hometown in St. Louis, MO to visit John Boos & Co.'s Showroom in Effingham, IL to pick up a few cutting boards to use on her upcoming PR tour.
At a young age of 25, Christina was one of the many contestants that were put to the test by Chef Gordon Ramsay in Hell's Kitchen with grueling challenges, slicing and dicing their way through each episode in hopes of winning a life-changing culinary prize. Christina's strong culinary talents pushed her through to win a whopping 9 challenges and sent her on through to the finale. Battling against Petrozza in the final competition, Christina had to deal with weak members of her team while her prize was at stake. Ultimately, Christina reigned supreme and is now a winner of a senior chef position at Ramsey's new restaurant, Gordon Ramsey at the London West Hollywood which is scheduled to open in the summer of 2008.
While visiting Boos' Showroom on July 7th, Christina and her grandmother, Suzy, picked out a variety of cutting boards for Christina's upcoming PR tour with Petrozza, and she also shopped for family and friends. At the time of the visit, Christina was not allowed to announce who had won Season 4 of Hell's Kitchen. However, she had already known she was the winner, because taping had ended six months prior.
